1 small thing that makes a BIG difference.

It's almost impossible to find the perfect "fit" for your clothes.  A few that I'm able to name off of the top of my head would be, regular, slim, tailored, or skinny. All fits cater to different tastes and crowds, but the fit that I believe best compliments your shape are slim and tailored. Not only are are these cuts visually appealing, but they are also comfortable. With regular, and skinny you might find yourself arranging your garments due to the excess fabric, or experiencing limited mobility due to the tight cut.

So what do you do?

Finding the right slim or tailored fit is a little tricky as well as each brand has their own unique fit/target audience. For example, Zara's slim fit is a lot more snug than Uniqlo's slim fit, or Old Navy's skinny fit might be a little loose from GAP Inc.s My recommendation its going with what feels good the second you put it on and you initially think, "I look handsome AF." So now, you must be feeling yourself in that new shirt from (Store of your choice), and that you're about to have 18 people approach and compliment your new piece. Stop right there.

Going the EXTRA mile.

You can always opt for taking the extra step in everything you do. In this case, to dodge trying to make this some cheesy motivational speech let's just apply this to your clothes. I am a firm believer that you aren't able to truly achieve the best fit possible straight off the rack. You must think I'm crazy right? You're a slim guy, and you bought those slim-fit shirts/jeans and it's simple math right? Sorry to burst your bubble but that's wrong. So the extra mile I'm mentioning is finding yourself an excellent tailor. "But-". I'm sorry but these are professionals whose occupation is to alter/make garments that specifically fit an individual. A true custom alteration/fit will make all the difference in your style. In no way am I advertising for your local tailor, but I strongly suggest that if you own a shirt that has slack on the sides...get rid of that cotton muffin-top! Do you own jeans/pants where you feel that the opening looks as if you would be able to fit another leg through it? Bottom line, not tailoring your clothes is doing yourself a disservice. Tailors have been around for hundreds of years, and there's a great reason why.

Here are some pants that I bought from Uniqlo, that came in a "slim fit".  I took them to my tailor to slim the leg openings, tighten the ankle opening, and finished with a nice hem. Believe me when I say this is a huge difference as these pants were too baggy to be considered slim fit when I first bought them.
